Everyone is looking forward to the Royal wedding. Dresses are the big topic of conversation though, with Victoria Beckham supplying some for the bride to enjoy on other occasions.

Unless you have failed to watch television, listen to the radio, speak to friends or look on the internet in the last few weeks, you will know that a Royal wedding is about to take place in the UK.

Prince William and his girlfriend Kate Middleton are all set to tie the knot on Friday 29th April in Westminster Abbey. It will be the first big Royal wedding for some time, and it seems as if everyone is getting ready for the big occasion. With a Bank Holiday planned and many councils lifting the restrictions for having street parties, it sounds like a day to look forward to.

Even Victoria Beckham is getting into the spirit of things, by sending the bride to be a range of dresses from her own clothing collection. Apparently Kate likes many of the dresses in the range, although of course she won’t be wearing them on the day itself! Instead she will be making good use of them for various engagements that are coming up in her diary.

Dressing for the big day will certainly be on the mind of other people though. With street parties and celebrations set to take place on the Royal wedding day itself and right over into the weekend, it couldn’t be a better time to focus on what you will wear for the big day.

Dresses are ideal for many women and they do give you a wide variety of styles to choose from. Since the wedding is taking place in April there is every chance that the weather will be changeable and perhaps not too warm. But with the right dress to wear you can complement it with a cardigan or wrap over the top. There is no reason why you shouldn’t wear a lovely flowing dress and still be able to keep nice and warm at the same time.

Consider what shoes you will be wearing too, as this decision can help you to plan your outfit more easily. A lot could depend on where you will be going to celebrate the big day. A street party will require something practical but comfortable, whereas if you are celebrating in your back garden you might want something that can cope with the grass and mud you might have to contend with. In this case a longer dress may not be such a good idea.

As you can see it all depends on what kind of dress you want to wear. But there is no doubt that women’s dresses are going to be the top choice for many women as they decide what to wear for the Royal wedding celebrations. Kate Middleton may have the best dress of all, but everyone can look sensational on 29th April.
