Them Crooked Vultures
Them Crooked Vultures take the phrase “supergroup” and make it real. The band is the collaborative project of Dave Grohl, Josh Homme and John Paul Jones. In other words; take elements from the Foo Fighters, Led Zeppelin and Queens Of The Stone Age, put them together and you’ll get Them Crooked Vultures.
The band has already been recording together in Los Angeles and have been brewing up a social media fan storm. In addition to the website at themcrookedvultures.com they have a Twitter account at @crookedvultures and Facebook fan page .
Rathering interesting Facebook issues a warning before letting users access Them Crooked Vulture’s website.

Why? The fansite currently offers nothing other than a chance to submit your email address. A risk? Perhaps but Them Crooked Vultures have a pre-made fan base of giant proportions and a good percentage of them will happily give over their electronic contact details.

What do you think? Are Them Crooked Vultures set for instant success as they start to release tracks or will the supergroup be in for more of a struggle than many predict?
