Worldofsuperheroes.com has announced that Admiral Adama will be lending a helping hand to Seth Rogen for the latter’s film remake of 1960’s radio and TV series ‘The Green Hornet’.

Edward James Olmos, who took the role of Admiral Adama from Lorne Greene in the updated ‘Battlestar Galactica’ TV series is joining the cast of Rogen’s adaptation along with Nicholas Cage, Cameron Diaz and Rogen himself, who will reprise the role of Britt Reid, played in the original series by Van Williams.

However, ‘The Green Hornet’ is perhaps best known as the show which launched the career of the late Bruce Lee outside of China.

Worldofsuperheroes.com were able to get a few words from Olmos about the role, but he remained relatively tight-lipped about the role, merely confirming he would appear in the film and was looking forward to it.

Olson’s role is unconfirmed as yet, as is the actor who will play the role of Kato, although rumours are circulating that the Green Hornet’s sidekick will be played by relative unknown Sang-woo Kwone.

The Green Hornet is expected to hit cinemas in July 2010.
