The Picture of Dorian Gray trailer

The trailer for the forthcoming Dorian Gray horror movie has been released and it looks good – ugly but good.
The film is based off the Oscar Wilde classic and features the artist Dorian Gray. Gray is painted by Basil Hallward, who becomes infatuated with him. Gray, in turn, meets Lord Henry who introduces him to a life of such perfect hedonism that he sells his soul to maintain it along with his beauty. It’s Basil’s portrait that begins to show the effects of the curse and as Dorian Gray commits of acts of sin the portrait of him decays and disfigures.
When the story appear (via the Lippincott Monthly Magazine) in 1890 it caused outrage due to its inclusion of homosexuality and Faustian themes.
