Stargate Universe is the next in the successful Stargate franchise. SGU stars Scottish actor Robert Carlyle alongside Justin Louis, David lue and Jamil Walker Smith.
SGU is designed to be significantly different from StarGate One and Stargate Atlantis in both flavour and feel.

There is a very cinematic feel to it. The special effects look very good. There are excellent actors and from what I can see, intelligent adult content. Battlestar Galactica has set the standard. Universe looks ready to step up and take it to the next level.
We’re calling it SyFy’s SGU here as the Sci-Fi channel has, in America, has rebranded as such. In the UK the station is still broadcasting as Sci-Fi.
