Gungrave Live Action

The rather excellent anime action series Gungrave may see life as a live action film. Convergence Entertainment, known for The King of Fights, has secured the rights to the manga.
Variety reports that the film will have a budget between $30 and $35 million and that it will be Asian partners response for raising most of that.
Gungrave is owned by Red Entertainment and was created by Yasuhiro Nightow. If you don’t know the plot then putting the words “Gun” and “Grave” together give you a clue, without too many spoilers, and yet this action film is emotional and intellectual on many levels. It is a story of faith as much as it is a story of revenge. It is a story of life as much as it is a story of death.
